Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services. By engaging with our shoe repair services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your footwear for repair, maintenance, or restoration services at Kigivo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Customer") and Kigivo (the "Company").

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

2. Services Provided

Kigivo specializes in professional shoe repair and restoration services, including but not limited to:

  • Sole replacement and repair
  • Heel repair and replacement
  • Stitching and seam repair
  • Leather cleaning and conditioning
  • Zipper replacement
  • Stretching and fitting adjustments
  • Polish and shine services
  • Custom modifications and restorations

All services are performed by experienced craftsmen using quality materials. Service availability may vary based on the condition of the footwear and material availability.

3. Estimates and Pricing

We provide estimates for repair services based on initial inspection. Final costs may vary if additional work is required once repairs begin. We will contact you for approval before proceeding with any work that exceeds the original estimate by more than 20%.

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include applicable VAT. Payment is due upon collection of repaired items unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.

4. Turnaround Time

Standard repair turnaround time is 7-14 business days from the date of drop-off. Express services may be available for an additional fee. Turnaround times are estimates and may be affected by factors including material availability, complexity of repairs, and workshop capacity.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete repairs within the estimated timeframe and will notify you of any significant delays.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information for communication regarding your repairs
  • Collect your items within 30 days of notification that repairs are complete
  • Inspect repaired items upon collection and report any concerns immediately
  • Provide honest information about the condition and history of items submitted for repair
  • Pay for services rendered in accordance with our payment terms

6. Limitation of Liability

While we exercise utmost care in handling your footwear, we cannot guarantee that repairs will restore items to their original condition. Some wear, aging, and damage may be irreversible. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or defects not disclosed at time of drop-off
  • Damage resulting from normal wear after repairs are completed
  • Color variations in leather or materials due to aging or cleaning processes
  • Structural failures in severely worn or damaged items
  • Loss or damage due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific repair service in question.

7. Uncollected Items

Items not collected within 30 days of completion notification will incur a storage fee of £5 per week. Items remaining uncollected for 90 days will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of or donated at our discretion. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before disposal.

8. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship and offer a 90-day warranty on labor for all repairs. This warranty covers defects in our workmanship only and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage from external factors. Warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period with proof of service.

9. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full upon collection of repaired items. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Items will not be released until payment is received in full. Returned checks will incur a £25 processing fee.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website or display at our workshop. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
